Texas Wind Football

There are a variety of football programs tailored to meet the needs of athletes at every level. The goal is to provide a Christ-centered, competitive, and supportive environment where athletes can develop their skills, and grow in their faith. Whether it's the Varsity and JV teams, Junior High, or the younger 7v7 teams, every player is part of the Texas Wind family, committed to excelling on the field and living out Christian values.

6-Man Tackle Varsity and JV Football

The 6-Man Tackle Varsity and JV Football teams provide an exciting and fast-paced competitive football experience for high school athletes (grades 9th-12th). With a focus on teamwork, discipline, and athleticism, our Varsity and JV teams compete at a high level, playing against other schools and TAIAO programs in our region.

  • Varsity Football: The Varsity team is designed for mostly upperclassmen who are ready for a competitive challenge, pushing their athletic abilities while developing leadership skills on and off the field.
  • JV Football: The Junior Varsity team provides younger high school athletes with the chance to refine their skills, gain experience, and prepare for Varsity play in the future.

Both teams focus on strong fundamentals, teamwork, and Christian character, encouraging players to compete with integrity, respect, and perseverance.

Junior High Football

The Junior High Football program (grades 6th-8th) introduces athletes to the fundamentals of football in a supportive, Christ-centered environment. With a focus on developing individual skills, teamwork, and leadership, the junior high players gain the foundation needed to transition into high school football. This program emphasizes the importance of physical fitness, mental toughness, and sportsmanship, all while fostering spiritual growth and a love for the game.

4th-6th Grade 7v7 Football

The 4th-6th Grade 7v7 Football program is designed for younger athletes who are eager to learn the game in a more fast-paced, non-contact format. This 7v7 flag football format focuses on developing fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and developmental environment. This non-contact format allows younger players to develop their understanding of the game. The coaches provide a nurturing environment where athletes can grow in their love for football and learn to work together as a team.
